Finally got Peter’s fish up on You Tube. Nice fish - took Pete (the mate) forever on the leader. She does not look that big in the video but we called her 900 at the time.

I think Marlin season is over for 2010.  The fish have thinned out, the Wahoo have arrived but the real problem is the hurricanes that are stacked up one right after the next.
It seems like the hurricanes turn of the Marlin.  Who knows if it is the temperature drop or something else, but it sure [...]

AON again!  What a day we had on the 4th.  Two big fish.  In addition to the movies, the fishing remains strong.  We continue to see Blues of nice size and in good numbers.  There is nothing for us to complain about.

Wow!  Still going strong.  I bet we are averaging over two shots a day.  Maybe three.  Good size fish too.

It is amazing how long it takes it to get a new boat dialed in. We weren’t very happy with how many fish we saw through the tournaments so we started playing with the spread. It seems we have it pretty dialed in - at least for now!

Tournament season is here with a vengeance. MAKO finished up fourth for the Bermuda Billfish Blast. We came out of the blocks quickly with two Blues on day one. We did ok but Que Mas released five Blues for the day. What a show! Well done Travis and crew.

MAKO TAKES SECOND!
The Bermuda Billfish Release Cup just finished and MAKO finished second!  Chuck McKenzie and his sons chartered MAKO for the tournament and Chuck was able to catch the first Blue of the tournament. Phew!
Warmer water to the South of the island had brought bait, birds and life to the South side of Argus.  With this activity came a flurry of Marlin and Tuna activity for the fleet.  We all feel much better now.
We had a good week with the Tuna and caught a couple of White Marlin.  Still [...]

We just finished a week long family trip to Costa Rica. Despite concerns about keeping non-anglers and new anglers entertained, the trip was a huge success.
